In many ways I have to agree with you. What is most disturbing is the amount of crime in this area. There are so many break-ins. There have been a few in my apartment block. I don't feel safe anymore. As well, there is no insurance company that will give anyone in my building a policy because, as they said on the news, we have 5X the national average as far as crime. I know that Mayor Campbell wanted to clean up the downtown eastside by increasing the number of police, but all that happened is that the drug dealers etc moved east and up the drive. That only leads to one things break-ins.
