It was amusing reading these old posts about the Millenium Line. I think the activists were wrong to have their concerns. There's still plenty of greenspace. The cut is improved by the implementation of the parallel cycle paths. Cyclists now have a pleasant, convenient alternative to driving. A lot of people are relieved to have the Millenium Line for use, to cut down on inconvenience and gas consumption.
If I made one concession to the activists, it's that I am unsure of the impact to wildlife in the Cut, or noise pollution for residents near it. Other than that, I am really happy with where the Skytrain was built.
