My thoughts are that Marc Emery is a thug, because when people actually got up the courage to speak out against Da Kine (not everyone has the same viewpoint on Da Kine, you know), he said the following:
"I noticed that there is a person called Irene, of the Grandview/Woodlands community policing centre, and she must be picketed at that policing centre. Two people should be there with signs every day, saying that she is a Nazi, or having a swastika by her name, or some kind of strong, anti-prohibitionist sentiment, as she is clearly trying to shut down one of our temples for the cannabis culture, with absolutely no grounds or basis whatsoever other than her hatred, and we must reflect that, to the community, that she is not the common voice of the community; no complaints have been received in the over 100 days that Da Kine has been operating. What a strike against freedom of speech!
I know of at least three business people in Da Kine's area who are SCARED SHITLESS to speak out, because "Irene" has been tarteted.
Others have been approached in the street and told to "shut the fuck up", still others have had their tires slashed.
I honestly could not give a rat's ass about whether or not marijuana should be legalized, but I DO CARE about people trying to supress a person's right to their opinions.
